BD Microtainer® tubes with Microgard™ closure are specifically designed for capillary blood collection and offer the highest levels of safety and convenience. The Microgard™ safety closure minimizes the risk of blood splashes when opening the tubes, thus improving the protection of medical personnel. The optimized tube design with a larger diameter ensures easy handling, while an integrated lever mechanism facilitates tube opening. When combined with an optional extension sleeve, the tubes are compatible with standard 13 x 75 mm racks – ideal for seamless laboratory operations.
