The BD Microtainer safety lancets offer a safe, hygienic, and convenient solution for capillary blood collection. The ergonomic design of the lancet fits comfortably in the hand and allows for precise positioning at the puncture site. The contact-activated lancet is triggered by simply applying pressure to the skin. The sterile tip then automatically retracts into the housing – for maximum safety against puncture injuries and controlled disposal.
The lancets are available in three versions —for low , medium , and high blood flow —each with a predefined insertion depth that cannot be changed by the user. This ensures reliable and reproducible results for a wide range of patient needs.
