BD Blunt Fill needles are specially designed, blunt needles for safely preparing and withdrawing medication from vials or multi-dose containers. Their 45° bevel allows for easy penetration into vials without the need for sharp needles—ideal for preventing needlestick injuries and cross-contamination.
The version with a 5-micrometer filter removes up to 98% of all particles , making it particularly suitable for preparing low-particle injections. Thanks to the larger inner lumen, even viscous medications can be drawn up quickly and efficiently .
