This four-stage artery model realistically demonstrates the progressive development of arteriosclerosis —from a healthy, elastic artery to a vessel completely blocked by a thrombus . It is an effective tool for patient education, preventative health care , and medical and nursing training .
The model consists of four fixed cross-sectional sections that are rotatably mounted and represent the following stages:

Healthy artery (soft)

Early fat storage / Stage 1 (firm)

Advanced plaque formation / Stage 2 (firmer)

Complete vascular occlusion by thrombus / Stage 3 (hard)
The varying material hardness makes the changes in vascular elasticity during the progression of arteriosclerosis clearly noticeable. The model is movable but cannot be disassembled and is particularly suitable for practical demonstrations in training, therapy education, or prevention events .
