This highly detailed artery model provides a vivid insight into the origin and development of arteriosclerosis . It shows a longitudinal section through an artery with visible plaque deposits , complemented by four cross-sections that illustrate the progressive buildup of plaque on the vessel wall.
The model is ideal for patient education on cardiovascular diseases , for use in cardiology training , in nursing classes or to illustrate preventive measures for high-risk patients.
