Aquacel Extra from ConvaTec is an advanced hydrofiber wound dressing with integrated reinforcement fibers , specifically developed for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds. The dressing is sterile, highly absorbent, and dimensionally stable—ideal for use on both chronic and acute wounds. Thanks to its hydrofiber technology, the dressing forms a gel-like material upon contact with wound exudate, maintaining a moist wound environment while reliably absorbing excess secretions.
