Adaptic Touch is a sterile, adhesive wound dressing made of a finely knitted cellulose acetate mesh with a soft silicone coating. It serves as a primary dressing for the care of delicate, exuding, or slow-healing wounds. Thanks to its open mesh structure, Adaptic Touch allows uninterrupted exudate flow to the secondary dressing without sticking to the wound bed.
The silicone coating ensures gentle adhesion to intact skin without adhering tightly to the wound. This allows for atraumatic dressing changes – particularly suitable for pain-sensitive patients or those with frequent dressing changes. The wound dressing stays reliably in place and effectively protects the wound bed from mechanical irritation.
