Acticoat 7 from Smith & Nephew is an innovative, multi-layer wound dressing with a unique silver coating that provides a controlled and sustained release of antimicrobial silver ions for up to 7 days . Designed for the care of infected or vulnerable wounds , the dressing effectively reduces the risk of wound infection while promoting a moist wound environment for optimal healing. Its flexible structure allows the dressing to adapt well to different body sites and is suitable for both acute and chronic wounds.
