This leg skeleton with pelvic half and color-coded muscle markings from Erler-Zimmer is a true-to-life cast of a human leg and was specifically designed for the requirements of physiotherapy training. The model can be disassembled into the thigh (femur) , shin (tibia) , fibula, and foot , supplemented by a removable pelvic half for a realistic representation of the hip joint. The color-coded marking of muscle origins (red) and muscle insertions (blue) was developed in collaboration with specialist instructors. A comprehensive, didactically structured instruction manual with references is included.
