This detailed elbow joint model is based on a natural cast of a human elbow joint and realistically depicts the relevant anatomical structures. It includes the humerus , the ulna , and the radius . The ligaments and interosseous membrane are made of elastic material and allow for a vivid representation of the movement sequences in the elbow joint.
The model allows for practical demonstrations of typical movements such as flexion and extension, as well as pronation and supination —the rotation of the forearm.
