The intradermal injection trainer offers a realistic way to learn the technique of intradermal injection safely and correctly. The training model consists of a skin-like, flexible surface stretched over a curved base. The soft, textured skin simulates the natural texture of human skin and provides an authentic injection sensation .
The trainer has six injection sites where, when used correctly, a realistic wheal (blister) forms. This can be removed by suctioning out the fluid, allowing multiple practice sessions at the same site. If an injection site becomes worn, the skin pad can be easily replaced – the holder remains usable.
