The Infant Injection Leg is a detailed, life-size training model for realistically practicing venous punctures in newborns. The integrated, palpable veins can be filled with artificial blood via a tubing system, allowing for visible blood flow back upon successful puncture. This allows for hands-on training in both the localization and safe puncture of small veins.
The model is ideal for use in neonatology, pediatric nursing, emergency services and skills labs and can be used multiple times before replacement is necessary.
