A cricothyrotomy – a surgical procedure to open the airway in an emergency – requires precise technique and extensive practice. Crico Chris enables medical professionals to practice this critical procedure safely, repeatably, and without risk. The trainer features an anatomically correct larynx with an interchangeable conic ligament and realistic skin, both of which can be rotated 360° – allowing for numerous practice incisions on a single model. An integrated blood-filled bag realistically simulates blood flow during the incision and obscures the view – just like in a real-life situation.
