The transparent intracutaneous skin suture pad is an innovative, special version of the proven skin suture pad for the skin suture trainer (item no. 7060) . Developed in collaboration with the teaching and learning center of the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen , this pad enables particularly effective training in intracutaneous suture techniques .
Thanks to the transparent upper skin layers, the thread path can be visibly traced through the skin – ideal for use in medical training, for example, in skills labs, suturing courses, or OSCE exams. The pad allows for direct monitoring of the technique , thus facilitating both learning and teaching surgical suturing.
