This shrapnel wound simulation for the abdomen is a realistic training aid for practicing the treatment of severe trauma wounds. The model is made of soft, flexible plastic and can be attached to a training mannequin or to a person (over clothing) using a strap system. It is intended solely for educational and training purposes and is not for patient care.
An integrated bleeding system enables realistic simulation of active bleeding. In conjunction with an optional external bleeding device (not included), blood loss and hemorrhage control measures such as pressure bandages or other emergency medical techniques can be practiced realistically. The simulation is suitable for structured training scenarios in emergency, first aid, and paramedic training.
