
Melolin® from Smith & Nephew is a low-adherent, absorbent wound dressing made from a cotton-polyester blend . It is characterized by high absorbency , and the polyester coating on the wound side minimizes the risk of adhesion to the wound. This allows for painless dressing changes , which is particularly beneficial for sensitive or post-operative wounds. Melolin® is suitable for both acute and chronic wounds .
