Intrasite Gel from Smith & Nephew is a sterile hydrogel wound dressing in a convenient dispenser for the effective cleansing and treatment of acute and chronic wounds. The gel rapidly rehydrates necrotic tissue, supports the autolytic debridement process, and absorbs excess exudate and debris. It creates a moist wound environment that promotes wound healing and ensures a high level of therapeutic safety through targeted and controlled application directly to the wound.
Areas of application:
Wound cleansing for secondarily healing, shallow or deep wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, postoperative wounds, surgical wounds, superficial burns, infected or fibrin-covered wounds.
