This hand and arm injection trainer is an affordable and realistic training model for teaching intravenous injection techniques. Its detailed design, light weight, and high mobility make it ideal for flexible use in education, teaching, and training. The hand and arm are made of soft material and feature realistically depicted veins that are both visible and palpable, allowing for practical practice of all common injection sites.
The veins in the antecubital fossa, along the forearm, on the back of the hand, and in the thumb vein can be punctured. During insertion, the skin exhibits realistic movement, and the typical resistance when penetrating the vein is clearly perceptible. This gives learners an authentic feel for administering intravenous injections and allows them to specifically improve their technique.
The model is robustly designed and allows for several hundred injections before it needs to be replaced due to wear and tear, as it is a disposable simulator. It comes in a practical plastic case that can be used as a workstation when needed, allowing for flexible handling during training. The package includes all components necessary for effective IV injection training, including blood powder, blood bags, syringes, and the transport case.
The injection trainer combines realistic punctureable veins on the hand and arm, lifelike skin and tissue reactions, low weight for high mobility, and a functional storage solution, making it suitable for structured training in medical education and training.
