HydroTac from Hartmann is an innovative, sterile , hydrophilic foam dressing with a hydrogel layer for moist wound treatment . The dressing combines two active principles: It absorbs excess exudate without drying out the wound and simultaneously releases moisture to relatively dry wounds . In this way, it actively supports granulation and epithelialization during the healing process. The hydrogel mesh structure on the wound side protects the tissue and ensures an optimal moist wound environment . The PU cover film is permeable to water vapor and impermeable to liquids and germs , which offers additional security. Thanks to its soft, supple structure, HydroTac can be removed comfortably and with little pain, even after extended wear.
