The Histofreezer is an effective wart removal device that uses cold treatment . Using a spray can and special cotton applicators, you can remove warts by freezing them . The gas mixture, consisting of dimethyl ether, propane, and isobutane , creates a temperature of minus 57°C , which is transferred directly to the wart via the applicator. After about 10 days , the epidermis changes color and falls off, leaving a new layer of skin underneath, successfully removing the wart. The procedure is bloodless and achieves excellent results in most cases.
There are two different sizes of applicators that are used depending on the size of the wart: small (2 mm) and medium (5 mm) .
