This particularly detailed and enlarged model shows an anatomically precise section through the right hemisphere of the brain , supplemented by a portion of the skull. The pia mater was deliberately removed to reveal the deeper structures.
The double-sided model offers two different views: a section along the midline , including a view of the falx cerebri , and a sagittal section on the opposite side, revealing the lateral ventricle . The fine painting visually highlights individual brain regions, making the model ideal for teaching and demonstration.
