This high-quality 500 ml threaded bottle, made of robust soda-lime brown glass, was specially developed for the safe handling of light-sensitive media and chemicals in laboratory and medical environments. The deeply colored brown glass reliably protects photosensitive substances from UV radiation, guaranteeing the durability and stability of your samples and reagents. The innovative, square base also ensures optimal space utilization, allowing you to efficiently maximize valuable space in laboratory cabinets, refrigerators, and on work surfaces.
The focus of this laboratory bottle is on maximum user protection: an innovative ethylene acrylate coating encases the glass body like a protective sheath. Should glass breakage occur in the hectic everyday laboratory, the elastic coating reliably catches the fragments. This significant reduction in the dangerous splintering effect not only prevents injuries to personnel but also minimizes the loss or uncontrolled leakage of hazardous liquids.
The system is complemented by a precisely sealing PP screw cap (GL 32 thread) and an integrated PE-LD pouring ring. This combination ensures absolutely drip-free, clean work and safe dispensing without dangerous after-dripping. The bottle is designed for thermal use up to a maximum of 80 °C and can be cleaned gently at up to 60 °C, ensuring long-lasting and reliable use in a professional environment.
