The Erler-Zimmer foot skeleton is an anatomical teaching model for illustrating the bony structures of the human foot. The model is based on a true-to-life cast of a human foot skeleton and is designed for use in training, teaching, and clear demonstrations.
All bones of the foot are individually crafted and movably mounted on wire. This construction allows for the demonstration of the foot's anatomical structure and the spatial relationships between the tarsal, metatarsal, and toe bones. Furthermore, typical movement positions of the ankle joints can be clearly visualized.
The model is supplied without a tripod and can be used flexibly in various teaching and demonstration situations. Its compact design makes it suitable for use in classrooms, training rooms, or presentations.
The foot skeleton is intended for use in medical and anatomical education, including physiotherapy, orthopedics, and podiatry. It serves solely to illustrate anatomical structures and movement patterns and is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical applications. Use outside of its intended teaching and demonstration purpose is prohibited.
