This life-size model depicts the healthy uterus in highly detailed and vivid detail. It is ideal for medical training, patient education , and demonstrations of gynecological issues , such as advising on the use of an intrauterine device (IUD) —even if no IUD is included.
The model has been carefully hand-painted and depicts all the important anatomical structures of the female reproductive system. The vagina, cervix, and uterine cavity are open, allowing the endometrium (uterine lining) and myometrium (muscles) to be clearly visible. Additionally, a fallopian tube and an ovary are shown in section, including follicular stages and egg maturation .
