This unique, three-dimensional teaching aid is ideal for performing Leopold maneuvers and practicing abdominal palpation. It aids in determining fetal presentation, position, and fundal position during pregnancy. The abdominal palpation model set includes a fetus with movable arms and legs, fixed buttocks, and a head with palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles. The fetal body is flexible, allowing demonstration of all fetal positions and presentations. The fetus and its included plastic pelvis are positioned within the abdominal area of the model. The abdominal cover consists of a padded fabric layer that attaches to the base with Velcro, allowing for easy adjustment and visualization of the fetal position. To enhance the realistic tactile experience, the set includes gel cushions that provide an authentic feel of amniotic fluid. The set also includes additional movable gel cushions to simulate amniotic fluid and a practical guide on how to use the model correctly. Everything is supplied in a convenient carrying case for easy transport and storage.
