Airway Larry simulates a non-anesthetized patient and offers a realistic opportunity to practice intubation, ventilation, suctioning, and resuscitation techniques. The model reproduces human anatomy and relevant landmarks such as the teeth, tongue, nasopharynx, larynx, epiglottis, ventral ligaments, vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, cricoid cartilage, and stomach in detail. This trainer can be used to practice various intubation techniques, including oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as intubation with endotracheal, EOA (esophageal obturator airway), or PTL (pharyngotracheal lumen) tubes, laryngeal mask ventilation, and Combitube® insertion. Suctioning techniques and correct tube blocking can also be practiced and reviewed. The trainer is particularly suitable for beginner and advanced groups and offers sufficient space for efficient work. Another advantage is the ability to realistically perform the Sellick maneuver, as circular pressure changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus. The one-piece model is durable and robust and can be attached to Model R10052 to practice both intubation and resuscitation.
