This blood pressure simulator easily attaches to the shoulder opening of the R10052 manikin and allows for realistic simulation of blood pressure measurement and heart rate monitoring. The arm is pivoting and can be extended away from the body for ease of use and practice. The simulator is programmed to display the five Korotkoff phases during auscultation. Additionally, an auscultatory gap switch can be used to simulate the auscultatory gap between phase I and phase II sounds, allowing for realistic practice. The pulse rate can be adjusted from approximately 50 to 100 beats per minute, allowing for practice in a variety of scenarios. The simulator is supplied with a sphygmomanometer cuff and gauge to simulate full blood pressure measurement.
