ENFit enteral safety syringes with a female Luer-lock connector are specifically designed for enteral feeding . They are not compatible with parenteral systems , thus reducing the risk of mix-ups. The optimized inner diameter ensures an efficient flow rate , even with fatty or viscous solutions . The globally standardized violet/purple color coding clearly indicates enteral use. Furthermore, the syringes are compatible with all common perfusion pumps (from 5 ml in BD mode).
