This injection simulator offers a realistic opportunity to practice intradermal injections and is specifically designed for medical training . The simulator consists of a forearm extending from the wrist to just below the elbow . The realistic texture and appearance of the vinyl skin ensure lifelike training conditions , helping trainees perfect their intradermal injection skills.
The model offers eight sites for practicing intradermal injections . With proper fluid injection , a typical wheal forms , which can be removed by aspirating the fluid after the injection. This feature makes the model a reusable training tool that can be used even after multiple exercises.
