This brand-new simulator offers a complete training opportunity for the placement of peripheral central venous catheters (PICCs). It is the only one of its kind that allows the entire procedure to be performed – from needle insertion and handling of the PICC to precise placement of the distal end in the superior vena cava. The simulator offers access via both the basilic and cephalic veins to practice different levels of cannulation difficulty. With an interchangeable ultrasound puncture pad and anatomically correct venous bifurcations, the simulator enables realistic and comprehensive training. The movable shoulder allows you to practice arm positioning and avoid potential catheter misplacement. This makes the simulator an ideal training tool for physicians as well as clinical and radiological specialists.
