The Economy double-headed stethoscope is a standard model for daily use in medical practices, nursing homes, and hospitals. It features a rotating double-headed chestpiece with a diaphragm and a bell, allowing for targeted auscultation of different frequency ranges. The 45 mm diameter diaphragm is designed for transmitting higher-frequency sounds, while the 30 mm diameter bell is used for low-frequency sounds. The chestpiece has a plastic cold-insulating ring to facilitate skin contact. The silver-colored metal headband has an external spring and is designed for a secure fit and long-lasting use. The stethoscope is latex-free and nickel-free. It is used for general auscultation of heart, lung, and bowel sounds in medical practices, nursing homes, emergency medical services, and hospitals, and is intended for medical professionals, nurses, and trainees. The rotating chestpiece mechanism ensures easy handling. Interchangeable eartips are available depending on the model. The stethoscope should be cleaned with surface disinfectants and is supplied in a hygienic display box.
