The DCT bowel irrigation system is a specially developed, closed system for the safe and hygienic administration of bowel irrigations, for example, in intensive care patients or in obstetrics. It combines a 3-liter Economy contrast medium bag with screw cap and shut-off clamp, a sterile 50/60 ml syringe with catheter valve, and a rectal tube with balloon. Application is simple and efficient. After the controlled introduction of the irrigation fluid, any backflow can be hygienically collected in the bag. The entire system is then ready for disposal.
