The Cleartest Strep-A ECO control solution set contains one positive and one negative control for external quality control of the Cleartest Strep A ECO rapid test – in both strip and cassette versions. These controls are intended exclusively for professional in vitro use .
According to good laboratory practice , regular control tests are recommended to ensure the performance and reliability of the test. The positive control contains heat-killed group A streptococci , while the negative control contains heat-killed non-group A streptococci (group C).
