The pelvic sling is used to immobilize and stabilize a pelvic fracture at the accident site. Fractures of the pelvic girdle are associated with severe pain, and the resulting internal bleeding can be life-threatening. The inflatable cuff integrated into the pelvic sling applies lateral pressure to the pelvis, thereby helping to reduce internal bleeding and alleviate pain.
CUFFS:
Both lateral cuffs are connected to each other and can be filled with the hand-held blower to achieve optimal stabilization of the pelvis.
HAND BLOWER:
Used to fill and empty both cuffs and allows for controlled pressure adjustment.
SLIDING RAIL / KNEE FIXATION:
For guiding the sling under the patient's pelvis. After removal, it can be used as a knee fixator.
TAPE:
Length adjustable for flexible adaptation to different patient sizes.
Variants:
Single use, large with hand blower
Single use, standard with hand blower
