Granular soda lime with a grain size of 3 mm in diameter is specially designed for the efficient absorption of carbon dioxide (CO₂) from respiratory gases. The porous structure of the granules provides a large surface area , enabling effective chemical reactions and reliable CO₂ binding. The granules feature a built-in color indicator : When depleted, they turn purple , making timely replacement easy and safe.
The soda lime is universally applicable and suitable for all common anesthesia and ventilation devices – in clinics, emergency services, medical practices or veterinary medicine.
