The Allevyn Ag Gentle Border is an advanced , gently adhesive polyurethane foam dressing specifically designed for the treatment of infected wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. This dressing contains integrated silver particles that provide antimicrobial action and support wound healing. The silver particles remain effective for up to seven days and are effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens.
The full silicone gel coating ensures a gentle, secure hold and minimizes the risk of skin irritation. The dressing has an adhesive border that provides additional fixation, eliminating the need for an additional bandage or fixation.
