Algoplaque Film is a transparent, sterile, hydrocolloid-based wound dressing developed for modern, moist wound care. The dressing consists of a thin layer of hydrocolloid-containing material applied to a flexible backing film. Upon contact with the wound, Algoplaque Film forms a moisture-retaining gel that supports the natural healing process. Thanks to its transparency, the wound dressing allows visual inspection of the wound without changing the dressing. It is adaptable, skin-friendly, and impermeable to water and bacteria – ideal for use on mobile body parts and for application while bathing or showering.
