The vulvar casts with comparative anatomy are a unique, realistic teaching collection for depicting the external female genitalia. Nineteen real women modeled for this project – the result is lifelike, detailed casts that showcase the enormous anatomical diversity of the vulva.
Each cast realistically depicts not only macroscopic structures such as the labia, mons pubis, and clitoral hood, but also, in some cases, the openings of the vagina and urethra . The finest skin folds and natural color transitions were individually hand-colored , making the models visually and tactilely exceptionally authentic. The series helps to dispel prejudices and misinformation and promote an understanding of the diversity of the female body.
