The GENESIS Epidural-Spinal Injection Simulator provides a realistic training environment for all common spinal regional anesthesia techniques , including epidural and spinal anesthesia . The ultrasound-enabled model incorporates anatomical structures of the lumbar region and allows trainees to practice real techniques such as the epidural LOR technique and lumbar punctures with precise feedback. Featuring a realistic loss of resistance (LOR) and a fluid-filled CSF space, the model provides realistic training for identifying the correct target areas when performing regional anesthesia .
