The cervical spine model, magnified 2x, offers a unique opportunity to realistically and vividly demonstrate the movement mechanics of the upper cervical spine . It consists of the cervical vertebrae C1 (atlas), C2 (axis), and C3 , as well as a segment of the occipital bone , and is specifically designed to illustrate the movement sequences in the atlanto-occipital joint and atlanto-axial joint .
Thanks to the enlarged view , even small anatomical structures such as joint surfaces or axes of movement are clearly visible , making it particularly suitable for use in training and patient education . The model is mounted on a removable stand and is easy to transport.
