This anatomically accurate spinal model consists of a total of 24 individual vertebrae, including 7 cervical vertebrae (C1–C7), 12 thoracic vertebrae (Th1–Th12) and 5 lumbar vertebrae (L1–L5).
The swivels are loosely strung on a rubber band and are not firmly connected to each other.
Each vertebra is a high-quality natural cast of a human vertebra and faithfully reproduces the relevant anatomical structures, including vertebral bodies, spinous and transverse processes, articular surfaces and foramina.
The loose mounting allows the swivels to be moved, removed and compared individually.
The model serves to clearly illustrate the anatomy of the vertebrae and allows for a differentiated view of the morphological differences between the individual sections of the spine.
