This anatomically precise collection of vertebrae consists of eight individual vertebrae, including two cervical vertebrae, atlas, axis, two thoracic vertebrae, and two lumbar vertebrae. The vertebrae are loosely strung on an elastic rubber band and are not rigidly connected to each other.
Each vertebra is a detailed anatomical representation, showing all relevant structures such as the vertebral body, articular surfaces, spinous and transverse processes, and foramina. The loose connection allows the individual vertebrae to be removed, moved, and compared, making structural differences clearly visible.
Thanks to its flexible mounting, the model is suitable for the precise examination of individual vertebral structures. Its compact design allows for easy handling and facilitates a clear presentation of vertebral anatomy. The model is designed as a teaching and demonstration object and serves solely for the visual representation of anatomical structures. It is not a medical device as defined by the MDR.
