The female pelvis, including ligaments, nerves, and pelvic floor, is a life-size, didactically designed anatomical model ideally suited for illustrating pelvic floor anatomy and its functional relationships . It shows all essential bony and muscular structures as well as important ligament and nerve pathways in the lesser pelvis.
The model consists of the iliac crests, sacrum, and coccyx . The pelvic floor muscles are two-part , removable , and made of flexible, color-textured plastic – ideal for explaining muscle pathways, support functions, and weak points (e.g., in cases of incontinence or prolapse). Furthermore, the ligaments and pelvic nerves are clearly depicted, making this model particularly valuable for training in gynecology, urology, pelvic floor therapy, and obstetrics.
