The optional pressure ulcer foot is a practical extension for the GERi™ and KERi™ nursing manikins and was specifically designed to realistically teach wound management for pressure ulcers . The module demonstrates the four stages of pressure ulcers with varying tissue depths and degrees of severity, thus providing an excellent opportunity to teach nursing students the visual and tactile assessment, as well as the proper cleaning and care of wounds.
The foot can be easily attached to the GERi™/KERi™ series nursing mannequins without tools and supports standardized training content in the field of wound care and pressure ulcer prevention .
