This realistic endoscopy simulator offers a comprehensive training platform for examining the upper gastrointestinal tract . The model allows for the insertion of an endoscope both transnasally and transorally and is ideally suited for training medical professionals in the fields of gastroenterology, ENT, and internal medicine.
Made from soft, colorfast silicone , the simulator provides a lifelike insertion sensation that realistically replicates the natural resistance and anatomy of the human body. Additionally, different anatomical conditions can be simulated, such as a septal deviation during transnasal access.
The model contains several pathological findings , including a gastric ulcer , early-stage gastric cancer , and a duodenal ulcer . It also includes four interchangeable polyps , classified according to the Yamada classification (I–IV) . A medially open half of the face allows a view of the internal structures of the nose, mouth, pharynx, and larynx – ideal for anatomical illustration.
