The flexible miniature spine (didactic) is a compact yet highly detailed teaching model specifically designed for medical education and patient instruction . Despite its scaled-down size, the model contains all the essential anatomical features of the human spine and is ideally suited for mobile use in classrooms, practices, or seminar rooms .
The color-coded marking of the five spinal segments – 7 cervical vertebrae, 12 thoracic vertebrae, 5 lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, and coccyx – significantly facilitates the identification and explanation of anatomical structures. Additionally, important clinically relevant details are integrated: a herniated disc at the L3–L4 level , spinal nerve exit points , and a simulation of the vertebral artery's course in the neck.
For better functional representation, the model features a male pelvis with movable femoral heads , which clearly illustrates the connection to the lower extremity.

-
Medical and nursing education (mobile or stationary)
-
Patient education in practice, clinic or rehabilitation
