The CLEARTEST D-Dimer Rapid Test is a qualitative in-vitro diagnostic rapid test for the detection of D-dimers as a marker of fibrinolysis. It serves as a supportive diagnostic assessment in cases of clinical suspicion of thromboembolic events such as deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, as well as in cases of coagulation disorders.
The test is designed for professional use in point-of-care settings and provides a visually interpretable result within a short time. It is particularly suitable for initial screening of patients with acute symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath, in order to include thromboembolic causes in further diagnostic evaluation.
