BD Vacutainer SST™ II Advance tubes are designed for standardized blood collection and serum analysis in routine diagnostic practice. The tubes are made of shatterproof PET plastic and feature an integrated separation gel that ensures reliable and clean separation of serum and cellular blood components after centrifugation. An integrated coagulation activator promotes rapid blood coagulation, thus reducing the time required for further sample processing.
The gold-colored Hemogard™ safety closure reduces the risk of contamination and minimizes aerosol formation when opening the tube. The combination of material quality, functional design, and secure closure system supports reproducible analysis results and safe handling in laboratory and clinical settings.
