Curafix iv Control from Lohmann & Rauscher is a specially developed dressing for the secure fixation of intravenous access , particularly cannulas with injection ports . The dressing consists of a combination of nonwoven fabric and transparent film . The integrated transparent viewing window allows for continuous monitoring of the puncture site without having to remove the dressing—a clear advantage in everyday clinical practice.
Thanks to the perforated holes and overlapping plaster wings, Curafix iv Control can be applied particularly securely. The dressing is easy to remove and skin-friendly , making it suitable for sensitive skin and frequent dressing changes.
