The BD Vacutainer® Flashback cannula, with its integrated viewing chamber, provides immediate visual confirmation of a successful venipuncture. Once the vein is penetrated, the backflow of blood in the flashback chamber becomes visible, allowing immediate confirmation of success and making the puncture process more efficient and safe. An integrated pressure equalization mechanism prevents air from entering the blood collection tube, ensuring even filling without hemolysis .
